DJ Cosher / Colin Sher is a Cape Town based DJ, music producer, songwriter and owner of Cosher Recording Studios.
Within his network he has formed productive and loyal relationships with nightclubs, event venues, promoters and wedding coordinators, by living up to his reputation as being reliable, punctual, professional and passionate. A testament to this would be season after season with long term residencies, years without going a week without a gig, as well as having done over 500 weddings without once advertising, and relying purely on word of mouth and referrals.
He is a trusted DJ listed on several wedding DJ companies, as well as on the preferred suppliers list of many top wedding venues.

CERTIFIED DJ'S
Based on the high demand, Dj Cosher found the need to put together a small and trusted group of djs that he can rely on to service the gigs that he couldn’t do. This started out with 5 or 6 djs covering for him when he needed to do other gigs, and it has grown to a bigger list of Djs that all share the same passion for music while remaining professional and reliable. These djs now service many residencies around Cape Town with over 200 hours a month being regularly booked at loyal and happy venues.

DJ COSHER'S CAREER
Once going independent, after being signed for 2 years to South African Label “Rude world records” dj cosher enjoyed many successful song releases to follow up from the nationwide hit “a Simple Kind of Paradise” that was his single that enjoyed high rotation radio play and chart success while signed to the label.
A remix of Extasy by Janice, as well as the production of an original track for the same singer “Liar Liar” put Dj Cosher’s name on the map, while regular releases continues to build on in his career.
The completion of his album “Certified” and soon to follow releases of the 3 singles on the album saw the boost in momentum he had been hoping for with crazy chart success and high radio rotation of his singles “Dancing in the Moonlight” “Just come Home” and the number 1 song featuring Jimmy Nevis “Think I Might”
He has since enjoyed high rotation radio play and chart success from other collaborative singles like “love this feeling” with sunset sweatshop, “clutch” with Jimmy Nevis and “Zombie” with Oshri.
As an unnamed producer he has also had a role to play in the rise of local artists , Tayla Hunter, Liam Burger, Kerwin, Acoustic Element, and Sunset Sweatshop.
